In our Custom Reserve Collection doors, each one is built using an overlay method, meaning there are four layers to each door, including the inner insulation and the outer solid wood layer. Armed with a homeowner's sketch or arhitect's drawing, we can create just about any door you imagine--with windows or without--for unlimited potential in woods like mahogany and teak. Semi-Custom Reserve Collection doors, available in cedar, redwood and hemlock, use a stile and tail method, with your choice of six panel and window designs being slid into the frame. This keeps the construction cost down, while still allowing them to be well-crafted and to maintain that custom look. Clopay's Reserve Collection Custom Doors:

Custom doors are up to three inches thick, providing excellent insulation and outstanding wear. Exteriors are available in a wide array of woods and finishes. Inside, commercial grade hardware, die-cast rollers, and aircraft wire make your door exceedingly durable.

Architectural: You may create a wholly original door design or modify a design from our semi-custom line. Your Custom Garage Door will then be built to your precise specifications, including size, type of wood and style of windows (if any).

Wood Selects: Your choice of wood is limited only by market availability. Check with GetBetterBuilt Inc.. The door can be stained or painted to match or complement your home.

Sizes: Nearly any door opening can b e accommodated, but individual doors may not exceed 8' high or 18' wide.

Windows: If windows are desired, any design is available. All are double pane 1/8" glass.

Clopay's Reserve Collection Semi-Custom Doors:

All Semi-Custom garage doors are built with care and craftmanship. Our time-tested two-layer construction method ensures durability and reliability. Premium hardware and heave grade commercial track assure smooth, quiet operation. Attractive black pwder coated grip handles and step plates further enhance the carriage house design. A bottom weatherseal is included to help protect the bottom door section and to help seal out the elements.

Door Design: Semi-Custom doors are available in six designs, with or without windows.

Windows: Doors are available with square, rectangular or arched windows or as a solid door. All windows are 1/8" thick glass. Obscure glass is available as an option.

Wood Selects: Wood stiles and rails are available in hemlock, cedar or redwood. Hemlock and cedar doors are constructed with imported hardwood panels and redwood doors are constructed with edge-glued redwood panels. hemlock door panels are also available with a gooved panel option.The doors can be painted or stained (the hemlock grooved panel cannot be stained) to complement your home.

Size: Standard witdths are 8' 0", 9' 0", 10' 0", 15' 0", 16' 0" and 18' 0" (nonstandard widths are available in 2" increments from 6' 0" to 18' 0"). Door heights are 6' 6" (3 sections), 7' 0" (3 sections), 7' 6" (4 sections) and 8' 0" (4 sections). Not all panel and window designs are available in all section width and height configurations (contact GetBetterBuilt Inc. for details).

Optional Features: A center groove is available to simulate the old world swing-out carriage house door. Attractive antique black iron hardware, including handles, strap hinges, door knockers and studs, are available to provide the look of a classic carriage house door. Factory priming is available on hemlock doors.
